Christina Mkanyoza

Christina Mkanyoza is a dedicated advocate for disability rights. She holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering from the Polytechnic, a constituent college of the University of Malawi. She is currently pursuing diploma in community development at Domasi Management College. Currently, Christina works with Human Rights of Women and Girls with Disability (WAG), where she plays a key role in advancing the rights of women and girls with disabilities. Her primary focus is facilitating the ratification, implementation and popularization of the African Disability Protocol (ADP) in Lilongwe and Dowa districts, a project funded by European Union. 

Through her work, she strives to promote inclusivity, equality, and empowerment for persons with disabilities, ensuring their rights are recognized and upheld. Christina’s background in biomedical engineering, combined with her passion for human rights, enables her to approach disability advocacy with a unique perspective, bridging gaps between health, technology, and social justice. Her commitment to creating a more inclusive society continues to inspire positive change in her community. Beyond her professional dedication, Christina enjoys singing in her free time.
