Sheena is a development practitioner with over four years of experience in programme implementation, compliance, advocacy and resource mobilization. She currently serves as an Implementation and Compliance Officer at WAG Disability Rights in Malawi, where she supports the delivery of inclusive programmes focused on disability rights, gender equality and sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) while contributing to donor compliance and grant development.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Community Development from Mount Kenya University and a Diploma in Community Development and Social Administration from Zanzibar University. Her academic grounding and hands-on experience in community engagement and grassroots programming have equipped her with a deep understanding of the barriers marginalized communities face in accessing their rights. Committed to inclusion and equity, She brings a rights-based, survivor-centred approach to her work and is dedicated to building programmes that are accountable, accessible and responsive to the needs of the communities she serves.
