Our Objectives

To empower women and girls with disabilities to know, understand, exercise, and defend their human rights through comprehensive sensitization initiatives, awareness campaigns, and capacity-building programs that promote self-advocacy and agency.

To promote access to inclusive and disability-friendly services for women and girls with disabilities across all sectors including but not limited to health, education, justice, and law enforcement by lobbying and advocating for responsive policies, service provider training, and accessible infrastructure that uphold their rights, dignity, and full participation.

To facilitate economic empowerment of women and girls with disabilities through provision of relevant information, mentorship, vocational training, financial literacy, and access to sustainable livelihood opportunities.

To research and document harmful cultural practices, customs, and traditions that perpetuate discrimination against women and girls with disabilities, and to use evidence-based advocacy to influence positive social and legal reforms.

To advocate for the full, meaningful, and equitable participation of women with disabilities in leadership and decision-making processes at all levels—including parliament, government ministries and departments, district councils, NGOs, the private sector, and community structures.

To raise awareness within communities on gender-based violence (GBV) and violence against women and girls with disabilities, promoting prevention, response mechanisms, and community accountability to end such violence.
