Our Key Thematic Areas
1. Human Rights Awareness & Empowerment Workshops
We conduct interactive workshops that educate women and girls with disabilities on their human rights, enabling them to understand, claim, and defend those rights. These sessions build confidence and promote self-advocacy across different areas including education, health, employment, and justice.
2. Legal and Psychosocial Support for Rights Violations
Our organization provides direct support—legal referrals, counseling, and guidance—for women and girls with disabilities who have experienced discrimination, violence, or rights violations. We create safe spaces for healing and empowerment.
3. Advocacy for Inclusive Services Across Sectors
We work with key stakeholders in sectors such as health, education, policing, and local governance to push for disability-friendly policies, infrastructure and trained personnel that ensure inclusive, dignified, and accessible services for women and girls with disabilities.
4. Economic Empowerment Programs
We support women and girls with disabilities through training in entrepreneurship, vocational skills, and financial literacy, helping them access income-generating opportunities and build sustainable livelihoods.
5. Community Engagement & Research on Harmful Practices
Through community dialogues and research, we challenge harmful cultural beliefs and practices that discriminate against women and girls with disabilities. We use evidence to drive advocacy and influence positive change at the local and national level.
6. Climate Justice and Disability Inclusion
We engage women and girls with disabilities in climate action through awareness, resilience training and participation in local initiatives. We also work with policymakers and government to advocate and lobby for inclusive climate policies that address the unique needs and rights of women and girls with disabilities.
