Today Human Rights of Women and Girls with Disabilities in Malawi – hrwgdm and DAPP Malawi under the U4ADP Project held policy review dialogue meeting with different stakeholders at district level.
This dialogue meeting brought together key stakeholders including government representatives, parliamentarians, councilors and persons with Disabilities from Lilongwe and Dowa districts.
The meeting provided a platform for inclusive dialogue and collective reflection where participants gave their inputs on the policy review findings that the consultant presented. They also provided the qualitative evidence on policy implementation gaps experienced in their communities and different workplaces.
The meeting has built awareness and ownership of the policy review among the participants who are the key local stakeholders.
