100 goats. 20 women. 1 mission Economic empowerment for women and girls with disabilities.

On Tuesday, WAG Disability Rights with IM Swedish Development Partner-Southern Africa support trained 20 women with disabilities at Chivala primary school, Dowa District on goat management and record-keeping skills essential for the sustainability of their new livestock enterprise.

Fanny Magombo, right holder, says these goats will secure a future for her daughter Cynthia, who was born without arms and writes with her feet. This initiative, supported by IM Swedish Development Partner-Southern Africa, is about more than goats it’s about economic justice, human rights and social inclusion for women and girls with disabilities.

We believe in Empowerment.
