Today we held dialogue sessions with traditional leaders (Chiefs) from Kauma and Area 23 introducing our initiative:
Advancing human rights, economic justice and social inclusion of women and girls with disabilities under the IMS initiative.
The goal was simple but critical: ensure community leaders understand the initiative and actively support women and girls with disabilities in their areas.
Chiefs are key to breaking down barriers. When they lead on inclusion, whole communities follow from access to justice to economic participation.
We’re grateful for their openness and commitment.
Together, we’re building a Malawi where no woman or girl with a disability is left behind.
